Keeping Busy!

Here's some of what we've been doing the last few weeks:

Avoiding the heat!

It's SO hot and humid here in the early summer! (Upper 90's and 50%-75% humidity!) Anyone who has lived in it knows it just saps the energy out of you, and when you're only a few weeks away from having a baby, you don't have much to begin with! To stay cool, we play in our pool

as often as we can!

Celebrating

On Memorial Day, we had a BBQ with the rest of the Hinckleys. Tyler and Evelyn got into the patriotic spirit:

To the Lone Star state as well, of course:

Inspecting the sprinklers:

Being Spoiled

At the beginning of the month, my new Relief Society threw me a baby shower, and they were SO generous, we are STOCKED.
This is the closest thing you'll get to a preggo shot this week. I am swollen and puffy and not photogenic, and I'm very close to banning cameras around me until after the baby comes!

Tyler and I especially liked these adorable little silver flats.

Friday will be 39 weeks! As of my last appointment, I am 1.5 centimeters dilated, and I am scheduled to be induced on June 24th, next Thursday. We are so ready to meet this little girl!

No one should ever have to be 9 months pregnant during the summer in a humid place. I've lived through a Florida summer and a Phoenix summer (while 9 months pregnant) and I would pick the dry, desert heat for sure. It will be over soon. Love you! Are you sure you don't want to come to Havasu on Monday? Quick little vacay before Baby Girl Hinckley gets here? Kidding! PS- You are not as swollen as you feel. You look fantastic as usual.

You look adorable! Seriously, not swollen at all. I am so glad your Relief Society threw you a nice shower. How fun to have all kinds of new things for Little Miss Hinckley. Those ballet shoes are super cute! I wish I was closer so I could come cook and clean for you and let you put your feet up. We love you so much and we can't wait to see pictures next week!

I finally got on my computer thisa week. I am so pleased that you were given a Baby shower from your Relief Society. Such a nice thing for them to do. You look so great, you just can't see what we see. Tyler, well he is a little boy now, no longer a toddler. He is just so cute. lOOKING FORWARD FOR UPDATES AS THE DAY DRAWS CLOSE. I am so exited about your baby girl. Take Care, your Debbiemoo
