Down to the River to Tube

Thanks for an awesome weekend, Mom and Dad! We had a blast! (We also can't turn our necks anymore.)

Ole! It's showtime!

Well, it looks like McKay will be this guy for the rest of the summer, tooting his horn for Tahitian Noni! It's a health food company based here in Provo, and he got an internship in their research department!

YAY!

We are one step closer to graduating!

And, if nothing else, it gives me license to sing this song as much as I want for the next three months:

Sweet Home Plano, Texas

It's been a nice start to this summer so far with McKay home. He's been interviewing for a ton of internships all over Utah County. This last week was just spent waiting to hear back from a few, and it was a good a time as any to jet down to Texas for a bit! We were missing our southern people. We didn't get many pictures, but we had a really good time. I got to spend a lot of time with all the Hinckley girls, with an A&E Pride and Prejudice night, a trip to downtown Dallas to see Sarah, Plain and Tall with all the girls, and lots of cousin time with Evelyn and Edison. McKay saw the new Star Trek movie with all the guys (plus Michelle, who is a closet Trekkie), and we had several Hinckley dinners. We loved our trip, but it really didn't help improve our patience in waiting for the end of this year. We are for sure ready to be done with school!

Evelyn and Tyler playing in the "playroom."

Meet Fuzz. Tyler kept this poor feline running from the second we got there to the second we left. This look of resigned endurance says it all.

Aunt Michelle and Tyler toturing Fuzz.

For some reason, we have a ton more pictures from the drive home than we did from the whole trip. We made a little detour at the base of Utah to go visit...

Four Corners! We'd never been there before, and it was only about twenty minutes off the main highway.

Tyler on his way to visit Maddie in Arizona :)

Hi Robin!
Hi Kim!

Tyler REALLY liked the observation deck, and thought he was very funny for having discovered it.

Just a little down the road, Tyler was getting pretty restless again, so we re-visited Wilson's Arch. This time around, though, Tyler was a lot more mobile, so he had a lot of fun climbing around. We made sure to keep our eyes on him, though. Don't worry, grandmas :-)

We miss you already, Texas!

Family Pictures

I know we just took family pictures last fall, but I love them, so we got them done again! We went to Vivian park up the Provo Canyon with an up-and-coming photography company called Indie Pindie. We got some really cute shots of us by the old railroad and rail cars.

You can see Tyler holding a goldball here. If you look close, it's in almost every shot. He would NOT put it down!

I love this shot of Tyler's face. He looks so sneaky!

We even made it on her blog! You can see our famous faces at
