A Cell Phone Rescue

For all of you who tried to call me in the last few days, be assured I would have answered my phone, had it not been in between our walls. We condensed the whole story into this movie.

We had all our neighbors trying their hands at it, too, so take it from us, sticky mouse traps are the way to go!

I got tagged to do a survey about McKay, but this one we stole from David and Marie is more fun because it includes McKay's answers! My answers are in normal font, and his are in bold.

Four random things about my husband/wife:

1. He likes to go fishing with his man friends on Provo River at midnight, or later. Apparently, this is the best time to go
a. While sleeping, she has attempted to look up a customer’s account info (what she did at work) by changing the settings on our alarm clock, told me there are ducks (or something) walking on our ceiling (“I heard them!”), and told me about her being a lumberjack.

2. He played the bass trombone in the BYU marching band.
a. She picks up any book in the house (and she’s read all of them except my Hugh Nibleys), opens to any random page, and starts reading. She finishes the book, then starts over and reads only up to where she started.

3. He has a permanent bump on his right shoulder.
a. Yeah? Well she has dents in her shins that only show up when she twists her legs a certain way.

4. His very first kiss and his wedding kiss were the same kind—just a peck.
a. When she was pregnant she went through a Kraft Mac & Cheese phase, comparing it to lobster ravioli at Macaroni Grill, even though she hated mac & cheese before then, and hates it today.

Four Movies I could watch more than once:

1. A&E Pride & Prejudice (And I did. I got this from the library once and played it every day for two weeks, just for the background noise.)
a. Across the Universe

2. The Princess Bride. Need I say more?
a. In America

Halloween

McKay and his Quailman.

My monstrosity...bwahaha.

Yar!

We decided Tyler was a little young for trick-or-treating, so we went to the Provo River Halloween Cruise instead, which, despite its corny reputation, was fun for a Halloween night out! We rode on an engine-less boat (the captain pulled the boat down the river with ropes that were strung all along it) with about thirty other people. The banks of the river were decorated with all kinds of jack-o-lanterns, carved upside-down so we could see the reflections in the water right-side-up. Then we got attacked by a pirate, who told a bunch of terrible pirate jokes (think anything that could sound like "arrrr,"), and at the end, our captain told us the Legend of Sleepy Hallow in a very scary voice. All in all, it was pretty silly, but a fun thing to do. Tyler loved the pirate and all the jack-o-lanterns, and I bet he enjoyed it more than he would have liked trick-or-treating.

How was everyone else's Halloweens?
